Developer Description

The app allows the evaluation of growth and blood pressure in pediatrics

This mobile application developed by the Argentine Society of Pediatrics allows us to improve the evaluation of the growth of all children and adolescents.

This tool surpasses other existing ones because it uses our curves and allows us an auxological diagnosis validated by SAP. It is a complement to the Growth Assessment Guides and reinforces the fact of the need to use appropriate techniques and instruments to arrive at a correct auxological diagnosis.

Includes:

-Argentine References: Allows the evaluation of weight, height, sitting height by calculating the centiles, z score and the graph. They are useful for clinical monitoring and for the diagnosis of tall and short stature. It also allows you to assess body proportions by calculating the sitting height/height and head circumference/height ratios.

- WHO Standards: Allows the evaluation of weight, height, head circumference and body mass index by calculating the centiles, z score and the graph. They are useful for monitoring and assessing nutritional status since they allow the body mass index to be evaluated.

- Intergrowth Standards: Allows the evaluation of postnatal growth in weight, height, and head circumference of premature newborns, entering the date of birth and gestational age. Correct the current age according to the gestational age. Calculate the z score and graph.

-References for achondroplasia: allows the evaluation of weight, height, head circumference and body mass index by calculating the centiles, z score and the graph.

-References Down Syndrome: allows the evaluation of weight, height, head circumference by graphing the entered data.

-Nelhauss head circumference references allow the evaluation of the size of the head circumference by graphing it when entering the data.
Since July 2024, the Argentine tables prepared by the Growth and Development Committee of the Argentine Society of Pediatrics were incorporated.

-Turner Syndrome References: allows the graphing of the height size of girls with Turner Syndrome when entering the data. This mobile application developed by the Argentine Society of Pediatrics allows us to improve the evaluation of the growth of all children and adolescents.

BLOOD PRESSURE MODULE
This module incorporated in July 2024 allows professionals to evaluate the blood pressure of patients from birth to adulthood in terms of their Blood Pressure values.
It has warning alarms in case of hyper or hypotension, it is a very valuable computer tool for health professionals.
