Tyck Till v3.4.2
Stockholms StadAbout this app
The Tyck Till app effectively addresses the need for citizens to provide feedback on Stockholm's traffic and outdoor environment, making it an invaluable tool for residents and visitors alike. By leveraging this app, users can contribute to the betterment of the city's infrastructure, which in turn benefits the community as a whole. Compared to other Travel and Local apps, Tyck Till stands out due to its focus on civic engagement and its seamless, ad-free experience. However, its limited geographical scope might restrict its appeal to users outside of Stockholm.
Pros
- With an excellent user rating of 5.0/5 and over 50,000 downloads, Tyck Till demonstrates a high level of user satisfaction and social proof, indicating a well-designed and useful application.
- The app's free model without in-app purchases or ads ensures an uninterrupted user experience, aligning with the developer's goal of encouraging genuine feedback without monetization pressures.
- The absence of permission requests suggests a minimalistic approach to data collection, potentially enhancing user privacy and trust in the application.
- Regular updates, as indicated by the version history, show the developer's commitment to maintaining and improving the app, which is crucial for long-term user engagement and satisfaction.
- The developer's reputation, being Stockholms Stad, adds credibility to the app, as it is backed by an official entity concerned with the city's development and citizen engagement.
Cons
- One of the primary concerns is the app's limited geographical applicability, as it is specifically designed for Stockholm, which might limit its utility for users not residing in or frequently visiting the area.
- Despite the excellent rating, the total number of ratings is relatively low, which might not fully represent the diverse user base's opinions and could potentially skew the overall rating.
- The lack of detailed information about how the collected feedback is utilized and integrated into the city's planning processes might deter some users from actively participating, as transparency in this regard could enhance trust and engagement.
- There is no clear indication of the app's offline capabilities or data usage efficiency, which could be a concern for users with limited internet access or those monitoring their data consumption closely.
Best for: The ideal user for the Tyck Till app is likely a resident or frequent visitor of Stockholm, aged 18-60, with a moderate to high level of technical skill, who is interested in contributing to the improvement of the city's infrastructure and is looking for a straightforward, user-friendly platform to provide feedback without the intrusion of ads or in-app purchases.

It works great. Sometimes hard to find the right category, so you have to scroll until you find an appropriate one, like papperskorg instead of sopkorg
Good but missing the basic wording when to pick what to report.
"Synpunkten skickades men tyvärr kunde bilden inte laddas upp" Would be a nice and simple app/service if it worked. I fail to upload pictures (even when I resize the files to < 1M).
