The history of the radio station with the fastest growing audience in all of Paraná is a mix of the life story and dreams of its creator, the radio host and businessman Jocelino Veloso Martins, who, with a lot of hard work and dedication, managed to carry out the Veloso Communication Group project, strengthening the central region of the state in the broadcasting industry, through the Modão FM station.

Since he was a boy, Jocelino has shown himself to be a natural communicator, born in Santa Izabel do Oeste, in the interior of Paraná, and raised in the rural area of ​​Boa Ventura de São Roque. In the Canadiá Settlement, he learned to work very early on alongside his mother and brothers, in the arduous activity of agriculture.

As a teenager, he had the opportunity to move to Pitanga, and join radio stations in the region as a reporter and announcer. And so, he became a professional recognized for his dynamic performance in interactive programs with all segments of society, and especially with listeners, such as the unforgettable “Sem Papas na Língua”, his highly successful brand on the radio in Paraná.

From announcer, reporter and presenter, the young communicator soon established himself as an entrepreneur at the company JVM Produções Artísticas, headquartered in Pitanga, expanding his projects to set up a radio station with a differentiated programming, focused on musical entertainment in the country style, in addition to information of interest to the population, and connecting with listeners from the entire area of ​​coverage, reaching an audience of approximately 400 thousand people in this large region of the state.

The Modão FM station was launched on September 10, 2022, initially on the frequency of 91.3 MHz, and is emerging as the audience leader in its daily programs. As of February 20, 2024, it moved to the frequency band of 93.9 MHz, with greater power in its transmitters.
