It's a really great app, clean, lets you view radar loops, meaningful weather alerts, not too many. I would like to be able to see more layers of weather data, specifically pressure maps, but that's because my father used to work for Environment Canada and I'm a nerd.

I have been using this app for years and for the most part it is extremely accurate but now the widget is not updating the temperature. I have to open the app or touch the update button on the widget to get the accurate temp.

Decent app but the description doesn't mention that it doesn't work properly on tablets and there is no intention of fixing that. So If you have a phone then it's good. If you have a phone and a tablet and would like the same apps on both, look elsewhere. August 2025: this issue appears to be fixed.

When the app updated to the "new" version way back I immediately hated it so I downloaded the apk for the "old" version and have been happily using that ever since. It is less cluttered, easier to navigate and just plain works. I'll never understand why developers insist on messing with something that isn't broken and adds no new functionality. Alas today (July 17) the old app stopped working. Maybe EC did something server side to force people onto the new app - I dunno. Not me though. Good luck

Feels like each time I check the app it has lost my current location. I can manually enter my location, but then it won't update when I move, so really that is not a valid option. I can't teleport, so just save my location until you get a chance to update. Maybe it could make the time stamp on the location data visible so that the user can decide if it's valid or not. I dunno, I'm just annoyed when I open my weather app and it doesn't give me the weather.
