A digital wallet that allows you to store and present digital credentials
Securely store and present your official digital credentials
GC Wallet is a secure and convenient way to store and access your official digital credentials, such as temporary visas or digital personnel licenses (e.g. pilot license). Designed to support digital credentials built using both mDoc and W3C technologies, the app ensures your credentials are available when and where you need them.
Scan, verify, and share with confidence
Use your device’s camera to scan QR codes and import credentials issued by authorized institutions. Present your digital documents using dynamic QR codes or secure on-screen displays, making it easy to verify your identity and other information at airport boarding gates and other checkpoints. All data is encrypted and protected to ensure your information remains private and secure.

GC Wallet is developed in alignment with current digital standards. With offline access, automatic updates, and clear expiry notifications, the app helps you stay prepared and compliant—wherever your responsibilities take you.

GC Wallet is currently being offered as part of a limited Government of Canada pilot and is intended solely for use by approved participants. It is not yet available for general public use. The app is under active development and subject to change as we test features, improve functionality, and gather feedback.
