Compared to other recipe apps, Cookbooks by Sorted Food has a strong focus on community-driven content and a well-organized catalog. However, its limited download numbers and lack of offline capability might make it less appealing to some users.

Cons
- The app's limited download numbers might indicate a smaller community compared to more popular recipe apps, which could impact the diversity of user-generated content and feedback.
- The in-app purchase model, with prices ranging from $5.49 to $54.99 per item, might be perceived as expensive by some users, potentially limiting access to premium features and content.
- The lack of offline capability might be a concern for users who prefer to access recipes without an internet connection, such as when cooking in areas with limited connectivity.
- The app's requirement for Android 7.0 or higher might exclude users with older devices, limiting its accessibility to a broader audience.
Best for: The ideal user for Cookbooks by Sorted Food is a tech-savvy home cook or food enthusiast, likely between the ages of 25 and 45, who is looking for a reliable source of recipe inspiration and is willing to invest in premium content to support their culinary interests and skills.

Cookbooks by Sorted Food users say on Google Play
The user experience is good and pretty intuitive. Sometimes the app hangs on opening and I have to force stop it then reopen it. It is desperately, DESPERATELY lacking a search feature. I've got silver chicken defrosted, now I need to look through each book to find recipes that might have chicken in them 🤷 Edit: they listened and there is now a search function! Good job 👍
It's really nice to have all the Sorted books in one place, especially if you were late to join the club and missed a lot of them coming out! There are a ton of options to choose from to make. I think we might lose a bit by having it in this form, like why each recipe is on people's bucket lists, but the practically of having all the recipes in one place is very nice!
Very nicely done app with awesome books by Sorted. The visuals are good as well - if you just want to browse. If not, then the only thing missing is some kind of search feature - sometimes you remember a recipe you'd like to cook but you can't remember in which book it was, then it can get a bit annoying as even within the book, you can't order stuff/search.
I wish there was an option to buy digital versions of the cookbooks, to have access to through the app, rather than paying the monthly subscription. Some of your cookbooks are no longer in print (how we cook). I'm not going to use the packs app, and I'm unlikely to listen to the podcast, so I'm paying 4.99 a month to read maybe 2 or 3 cookbooks once a week. I appreciate you're a business, but this puts up a lot of barriers for your average customer.
Can't even see the recipes after purchacing membership. Registered, put in my cc details and bought the membership. Clicked on recipes. It says "hey, wanna try it for free?". Uhmm, what? It offered me to buy a subscription. What the hell did I just purchased then??? Went into the website with same results. It seems that you need to buy one membership just to access the other section of the app to be aligible to purchase another membership. After 20 minutes of clicking I cancelled it alltogether
