Cool app for gamifying stuff you have to or should be doing. Literally the gamiest gamified app I've tried - as you check off tasks that you complete, you're traversing a map, run into monsters to fight, gear up, assign points to stats to increase attack or magic or defense, etc. I'm still very early in it, but it seems like it should be very effective for me.
Excellent habit tracking app with lots of features. The option for a lifetime subscription is also nice. I'm frustrated by the lack of recourse if I forget to check a habit for the day. There is no way to edit the statistics to keep an accurate history, nor is there any sort of reminder at the end of the day/beginning of the next, as there is in other apps.
Too distracting, I spent all afternoon fighting monsters I'd already fought to earn more coin, effectively making this app no different from a game. The game has a cap on how much gold you can earn from Pomodoros, I think the app should remove the cap on pomodoros and place a cap on monster fighting. I bought the plus version, which claims to double the coin I earn from fighting monsters. It does not. Game needs to remove the option to buy coins. Coins must be earned for habit app to work.
First off, ad free is a must or get ads every 15 seconds. but whatever, the feature i was really curious about was locked behind a paywall anyway that would also go down with the ads (allowing a number of times a week for a task). But the notification function is what really killed it for me. I do the task before the reminder, it still sends a notification. I don't have the task set for that day, it sends a notification. This app is bull
policy states it's offline so they don't collect data, and yet there's ads, leaderboards, and social "tribe" aspects. an exceptionally quick uninstall.
