Pelago can help members with the following substance use goals:
‣ Reduce alcohol consumption, quit drinking, or explore a sober curious lifestyle
‣ Quit or cut back on tobacco use (cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, cigars, cigarillos, roll-your-own tobacco, pipe)
‣ Quit or cut back on vaping (electronic cigarettes, heat)
‣ Overcome opioid dependence

With the Pelago app, you can:
‣ Attend 1:1 appointments with your coach, counselor, or physician
‣ Set and review goals, and monitor your progress over time
‣ Track things like alcohol-free streaks or money saved from not smoking
‣ Access the cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) library, which offers guided support in evaluating and changing your habits
‣ Message your dedicated care team member anytime, anywhere
‣ View your prescribed medication (if applicable)

How to get started
1. Before downloading the app, sign up online. Use the information shared with you by Pelago, your employer, or your health plan. 2. Schedule your onboarding appointment.
3. Download and log in to the Pelago app.

Additionally, our medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program delivers a combination of behavioral therapy techniques with the option of approved medication.
