great app. have had lots of voices come through and good reverb and echo with portal and ext. speaker
App Crashes alot and phone once also where had to remove battery and pull my phone holder case apart till it nearly snapped to do so. Hence 3 stars. (previously. Now 1) Only tried a couple of sessions with this yet so far it seems to mainly pick up on EVP above a certain threshold. Strong EVP. (Because sound banks run quite fast probably. Have not got to try out the updated version) That may not be altogether a bad thing for some types of research at all. You may have to wait awhile perhaps depending on location for EVP through this yet when received it can be quite strong and clear if not frequent. So you could imagine this coming into its own suddenly in Very haunted locations rather than just general locations for the reason It's not as sensitive as the Spiritus. It's like it was built for loud ghosts/poltergeists or something more than your usual spirit box sessions. So I suppose that can make it exciting in a way! It can get stuck on repeating a name or what have you and really lock into that I find. Lots of spirit box's do it and there is no exception here with this app. Also you can ask something and get no reply and then move on to another question and out of the blue it will answer the previous question that was not answered at that time. Therefore it seems to work with stronger pockets of energy moving around that it focuses in on. Which is why I mention poltergeist/stronger spirit energy's. Reverse mode is good on this for more pareidolia elimination via not getting to used to any one set of sound bank perimeters etc. Echo and reverb is always good for extra dimensions to what you are hearing. You could leave this running or on manually activated mode with a recorder in the room/environment sat next to it and then after see what you may have on analysis on your return rather than hovering over it real time. That is unless the poltergeist has nicked your mobile/tablet and recorder! The scary version of Spiritus maybe?? *Well it was okay until the update. Now crashes within a minute or two. No reverb and no echo to be found! Un-chopped regular play via sound banks. Little more than the Portal App which is virtually useless unless you actually have a Portal device. Same here now. Its a shame because the Spiritus Application is so good! And this I was hoping would be the same. That's the thing with download app's though. Unless you can transfer them to another device or store them someplace you never feel they are really yours as they can be updated anytime without warning and the box and sound banks you once knew are now gone. And you are left with an "update" of the 'Dear John' variety for you and your bank account to contemplate thereafter. And all in the name of "progress". Oh the games...... **Working better again yet still crashes after a few minutes. That may be to do with less modern mobiles etc? When it does work however like the Spiritus it's one of the best devices out there. Very clear sounding device. I've only just got to try out the updated version yet it seems more sensitive now and more like the Spiritus app. The Spiritus App is one of the best ITC Applications you can buy with its filters etc and this when it's working seems like it's up there with that app on quick first few trials. Out of the Spiritus and say the EchoVox for example the Spiritus is really quite that much better. Much less random because of the noise reduction like filters. Highly recommended.
Cool looking but im 95% sure that these are prerecorded sounds
Doesn't do much. No instructions.
