Fish Eat Fish.io solves the problem of monotony in casual gaming by offering a unique oceanic experience where players can eat, grow, and dominate as a little fish, appealing to fans of simple yet engaging gameplay. This app benefits casual gamers who enjoy easy-to-pick-up yet challenging-to-master mechanics, and it stands out in the Game Casual category with its straightforward yet addictive gameplay. Compared to alternatives, Fish Eat Fish.io's simplicity and lack of required permissions are notable advantages. However, the presence of ads and in-app purchases might detract from the experience for some users.
Pros
- With over 5 million downloads and a 4.4/5 user rating, Fish Eat Fish.io demonstrates strong social proof and a well-received gameplay mechanic that appeals to a wide audience.
- The app's developer, MOBIBRAIN TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD., provides a professional website and contact email, indicating a level of transparency and support not always seen in mobile game development.
- The absence of required permissions is a significant advantage, suggesting that the app does not collect unnecessary user data and respects privacy.
- The game's free-to-play model with optional in-app purchases allows players to experience the game without upfront costs, though the range of $0.99 to $99.99 per item might be seen as broad.
- Regular updates, as indicated by the version number 1.1.27, suggest that the developer is actively maintaining and improving the app.
Cons
- The inclusion of ads might disrupt the gaming experience for some users, potentially leading to frustration or the purchase of ad-free options through in-app purchases.
- The broad range of in-app purchase prices ($0.99 to $99.99) could be seen as aggressive monetization, potentially exploiting players who become deeply invested in the game.
- Some users might find the gameplay too simplistic or repetitive over time, which could lead to a drop in engagement as players seek more complex challenges.
- The lack of information on what data is collected through the in-app purchases or ads could raise privacy concerns for cautious users.
Best for: The ideal user for Fish Eat Fish.io is a casual gamer who enjoys simple, easy-to-learn games with addictive mechanics, likely in the age range of 13 to 35, with a medium to low level of technical skill, looking for a fun, non-committal gaming experience that can be played in short sessions.

this game is kind of hard but it's kind of easy I love your game it's like so awesome everyday I play this
Very fun,Addicting, and great for kids to play
nice game but running for fish is noy interesting
games not bad. you are forced to watch an ad after you die whether you want to respawn or not. it's pretty much impossible to get away once you've been attacked by a bigger fish. all in all, the game is riddled with minute+ long ads every couple mins.
Came back to the game, my previous review still stands and they want the price of an aaa title to boot. Uninstalled Start a match? Ads. Get outpaced by greedy team ai, die because enemies one tap 5 seconds down time or more ads. Finish match, ads whether you like it or not. Sit at main menu, more ads. At this point it's more ad than game and then they want $7+ to remove the ads and pay for premium currency on top. All in all, decent game if you have the patience to delve through hundreds of ads.
