This game is undeniably charming. The art, the story telling, it's wonderful. The trivia questions themselves range from "everyone knows this" to "I doubt anyone could answer this without help." You can change the frequency of certain question types in the settings, and thats useful if you don't know anime, because there are a lot of anime questions. I don't normally review apps, but this game has way too low of a rating.
Loveable game with some good and pretty visuals, and most important: An original approach to the narrative that really got me hooked me on the game. But a lot of times the quizz questions felt rather uninspired. A sequel with more variety on the topics would be really interesting :)
The art style of the game is just adorable, love it! But... (Yep, here it comes) First off, LOADS of anime questions! Anime is a niché genre...the majotity of players will not be familiar enough with it. Secondly - Rigged! The outcome wheel is rigged. I actually, to my horrified surprise, watched the wheel stop on a positive outcome...then swing backwards to a negative. Past two positives. It. SWUNG. Itself back. To a negative to foil the story. Might try again. Much later. 3 stars for now.
I honestly love the concept of this game. Many storylines to follow, and the trivia questions aren't impossible. BUT...and this is a big but...the stories are way too dark when you land on a bad outcome. This challenges you to try your hardest to get the answers right so you don't ruin your character's life with blindness or starving to death...and then the "random" wheel deliberately changes the good outcome you land on to a bad outcome anyway. Skips or reverses to make sure you fail!!
This game sucks. Even if you only get one single answer wrong it will automatically make you fail. Every single time the cards spin it goes right to red. Not to mention the frequent animal deaths. At the very least that needs a trigger warning. I'm not even sure there are any happy outcomes. Don't waste your money or phone space on this.
