The Practice of Zikr Can Calm the Soul & Draw Closer to ALLAH S.W.T

Zikir or dhikr to Allah is a form of worship for us to remember Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala by praising his greatness such as glorifying, tahmid, takbir and so on whether done with the heart or verbally. It is an act of worship that is required to be done at all times.

As for the meaning of dhikr in terms of language, it means REMEMBERING. While in terms of the term, zikr is remembering Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala at every time and place in the ways required by syarak either by speech, action or with the heart. Remembering Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala encourages one to do His commandments and abandon His prohibitions. Remembering Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala is also an effective effort to increase faith and piety to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala, and Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala also commands His servants to always remember him, as the words of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala in surah Al-Ahzab verse 41:
عوئ بلله من شيطان الرجيم
يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱذكُرُواْ ّللَّهَ ذِكرً۬ا كَثيرً۬ا
God Almighty
Which Means :- "O you who believe, (to be grateful to God) remember and say the name of God with as much memory and mention as possible"

Let's all do good with Daily Zikrullah because by doing Zikr our hearts are at peace with Zikrullah (remembering Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala). Know, with that zikrullah, the heart becomes peaceful

Let us always remember ALLAH S.W.T with lots of dhikr....
