In Wingspan up to 5 players compete to build up their nature preserves in a limited number of turns. Each beautiful bird that you add to your preserve makes you better at laying eggs, drawing cards, or gathering food. Many of the 170 unique birds have powers that echo real life: your hawks will hunt, your pelicans will fish, and your geese will form a flock.

Update fixed issues, love it once again

Love the game! Fun to play with a friend in person or against the AI. Having issues currently with the online mode. Sometimes there's a glitch after I take my turn the game doesn't seem recognize my action. It acts like the next player is up and the timer (for the next player) runs out. The game says "I" took too long and now disqualified... Really frustrating. Happens almost every 3rd online match.

I initially gave it 1 star because it was 5 minutes per turn, and with pink powers that could mean upwards of a 20 minute wait between turns. The recent update reduced it to 3 min per turn & added a sound to let you know it's your turn, which has been a huge improvement. With only 3 min, players pay more attention & usually are doing their turns within 1 min. Still, for pink, teal & yellow powers, you should not get a full 3 min per bird. And a new glitch times you out way too early sometimes.

Love the game but the mobile version crashes way too often. It trains you to avoid checking other players' mats just to prevent crashing. You can count on the game crashing multiple times per game and you have to hope it will reload before you run out of time. My advice is to stick to playing the game on consoles until something is done to stop crashing.

*Update* Logging in is super slow, and AI turns are even slower. This recent update definitely slowed down the gameplay! Doesn't appear as if I need to continue to log in though once the app is open, so that's a nice bug fixed.. in exchange for slower gameplay
