Solitaire Gem Quest v3.1

Created to enable players to use their preferred controls on Android, Solitaire Gem Quest is designed to be played with one of the following input methods: touch, a mouse cursor, switch access, a game controller or a keyboard. The app opens in landscape mode only.    

The aim of Solitaire Gem Quest is to collect as many gems as possible. To fully complete a board, you must collect all but one gem, leaving it in the middle of the board.

To play, first select the gem on the board that you wish to move into an empty hole. You jump one gem over another to catch a gem and add it to your bag. Continue jumping over gems until you can’t jump anymore, or there is only one left on the board in the centre.

CLASSIC AND PRECISE CONTROLS:

In the gameplay settings, you can choose between ‘Precise’ or ‘Classic’ control modes. In ‘Precise’ mode, you directly select the gem that you want to move before selecting the empty hole to move it to. With ‘Classic’ mode, you get larger targets that are spaced further apart. You first select the button on the top left to choose which gem you are going to move, then, if it can jump in multiple directions, you use the bottom left button to choose which one. To make the jump, use the button on the right.

Also in the gameplay settings are options to guide players on selectable gems and/or available holes.


SUPPORTED CONTROL INPUT METHODS:

TOUCH - A single tap on the onscreen targets activates them. No swiping or holds are required. 

MOUSE CURSOR - Using a single left click on the onscreen targets activates them. No drags or holds are required. The Auto-Click option in Android is also compatible with the game. 

SWITCH ACCESS - To scan through the onscreen targets using a switch, the use of the Google Switch Access app and a compatible switch interface or device is required.  

KEYBOARD - The Arrow keys navigate and highlight the onscreen targets and the Enter key is used to select one, when highlighted. 

GAME CONTROLLER - Using an Android compatible controller, the Left Stick, Right Stick or D-Pad is used to navigate the onscreen targets. Any of the face buttons or triggers on your compatible controller can be used to select an onscreen target, when highlighted.
