A game in which you explore the intimacy of someone whose phone you've found.

A Normal Lost Phone is a game about exploring the intimacy of an unknown person whose phone was found by the player.

The game takes the shape of a narrative investigation: you have to search the phone’s text messages, pictures and applications, in order to learn about its former owner. Through this phone, you uncover Sam’s life, friends, family and relationships, until the evening when they turn 18 and mysteriously disappear.

[Played on Google Play Pass] I thought the story was a beautiful piece of art. It was simple to follow and a decent pace, though very short. I do wish the characters were fleshed out more. I don't want to spoil the story so I won't go into detail. The exploration is interesting and is fully unguided, though the game gives hints to solve the puzzles. If you want to just focus on the story and skip the puzzles there are good guides to follow.

SPOILERS AHEAD . . . . . This game is great, accurately describes the experience of many queer and trans folks and solving the passwords to read more of the story was fun. I would have given it 5 stars but I felt like it was too short to finish. Took me maybe 90 minutes. But otherwise, a fantastic and beautiful game.

I love this game! It was amazing to play and I'd give 5/5 immeadiately. Sadly I can't open it anymore for some unknown reason. I wanted to show it to a friend but it crashes all the time. Reinstalation with and without restarting phone have not helped. I would love being able to replay it once again.
