Available only for members of specific health plans from BCBS Global Solutions. This app provides convenient access to licensed doctors around the world for remote consultations by phone or secure video. Telemedicine services are ideal for non-emergency health issues such as a cold, fever, rash, eye infection, orthopedic concern, back or joint pain or pediatric questions. You must “Create a Profile” after you download the app. You can schedule a video consultation or request a call back from a doctor through the app. Telemedicine consultations are complimentary with phone consultations available in several languages and video consultations available in English and Spanish. Requests for a call-back are typically responded to within 1 hour. Video consultations can often be scheduled same day. Medical guidance, possible diagnosis and treatment options are possible outcomes from remote consultations. Telemedicine services are provided by Teladoc.
