Very easy to use. Especially the experience to get more detail about certain medical expenses.
Alan was a huge improvement from other insurances. The whole activity thing (Alan Play) is a wrong turn and it being front and center in the app annoys me. I don't want it. Similarly the push notifications about "your colleagues are xyz" that can't be turned off are pushy. You are an insurance provider, you did that better than others, put the gamification of everything in a separate product instead of watering down your core offering.
Really bad experience after hospitalisation abroad, took Alan 3 or 4 days to establish contact with hospital. They misinformed me for day of transport back to Belgium saying elite will be on a certain day! After 2 days have passed and I am think I was supposed to fly the next they didn't communicate with me that they decided they will transport me another 4 days later! They didn't even call/email to inform me when my new flight back would happen! Stay away from Alam if you want good experiences
