Do Not Feed The Monkeys Lite v1.0.77
Alawar Entertainment, Inc.About this app
Do Not Feed The Monkeys Lite solves the problem of monotony in adventure games by offering a unique blend of surveillance and strategy, where players must manage the lives of strangers through hidden cameras, making it appealing to fans of puzzle and strategy games. This game benefits those who enjoy thought-provoking, interactive stories and are looking for a challenge. Compared to other games in the Game Adventure category, Do Not Feed The Monkeys Lite stands out with its original concept but may fall short in terms of action and fast-paced gameplay. The game's ability to evoke emotions and spark curiosity is a significant advantage, setting it apart from more conventional adventure games.
Pros
- With a high user rating of 4.0/5 and over 100,000 downloads, Do Not Feed The Monkeys Lite demonstrates a strong social proof, indicating a well-received and engaging game that has captured the interest of a significant number of players.
- The absence of ads in the game enhances the user experience, allowing players to focus on the game without interruptions, which is a significant advantage considering the game's immersive nature.
- The developer, Alawar Entertainment, Inc., has a website and email support, providing a level of transparency and accountability that can be reassuring for users concerned about support and updates.
- The game's offline capability, implied by the lack of internet permissions, makes it accessible for play in various environments, adding to its convenience and versatility.
- The unique gameplay mechanic of observing and influencing the lives of strangers through hidden cameras offers a fresh and intriguing experience that sets the game apart from more traditional adventure games.
Cons
- The game's mature content rating of 17+ may limit its appeal to a younger audience, potentially restricting its market reach and making it less accessible to players under the specified age.
- The in-app purchases, priced at $5.99 per item, might be seen as aggressive monetization, especially if players feel compelled to make purchases to progress or fully enjoy the game, which could negatively impact the user experience.
- The lack of information about what data might be collected, despite the absence of permissions, could raise privacy concerns among users who are cautious about their personal data and how it is used.
- Some players might find the game's concept of invading privacy through hidden cameras to be morally ambiguous or even disturbing, which could deter potential players and impact the game's overall reception.
Best for: The ideal user for Do Not Feed The Monkeys Lite is likely an adult player, aged 18 or older, with an interest in strategy, puzzle games, and interactive stories, who is looking for a thought-provoking and emotionally engaging experience that challenges their moral perspectives and problem-solving skills.
Developer Description
Watch strangers via hidden cameras. Invade their privacy. But don’t you dare...
• SPYING ON strangers through webcams and surveillance equipment!
• PRYING INTO the private lives of dozens of unwitting individuals!
• EXPERIENCING fun, shocking and appalling storylines!
Do Not Feed the Monkeys is a digital voyeur sim in which you observe strangers through surveillance equipment. While you're allowed to invade their privacy and witness their most intimate moments, you are forbidden to interact with them. Anything could happen if you dare to "feed the monkeys!"
Oddly enough, most of our players have a hard time abiding by this simple rule! What about you? Will you help those on which you're spying? Will you extort or expose them? Or will you follow the rules and twiddle your thumbs while the world burns?
To keep you safe, we operate under the cover of a wildlife conservation society called The Primate Observation Club. To understand more about what we do, read this brief glossary of terms and then let us know if you're ready to join:
Primate Observation Club: That's us! We're a shadowy group that observes other people through surveillance equipment and compromised webcams.
You: Tired of your rundown apartment, dull existence and boring job, you are the newest member of the club.
Monkeys: The dozens of strangers who have fallen prey to your voyeurism.
Voyeurism: Exactly what you think it is (and also the reason we're rated "Mature").
Privacy: Something the monkeys think they have.
Feeding the monkeys: Interacting or interfering with the subjects in any way. Feeding the monkeys is strictly prohibited!
Are you ready to become a member of The Primate Observation Club? All you have to remember is one simple rule: Do not feed the monkeys!

This game is gorgeous, love the artwork and the stores are intense and intriguing. Keeps me coming back for more. My only suggestion is a mode where we can relax more and can focus more on the solving of the puzzles rather than taking care of our needs, especially when we get more than a couple cages it can get really complicated. Regardless, I'm a big fan and highly recommend buying the full version of this game to explore it to its fullest. So worth it!
I really enjoy this game so much! The reason I'm giving 4 stars is because there's a bug where if you haven't been given the plant by the butcher's cult during level 1, at level 2 they default to assuming to have it. If you answer the door and don't have the plant, regardless of if you choose to talk to them or not, they still want to see the plant and the game gets stuck there because I don't have a plant. Other than that, the amount of stories and options and power of choice is amazing.
The concept is AMAZING. I got quite a shock when I was confronted with a £5.49 price to continue! Outrageous - I wouldn't mind watching an ad at the end of each day, because the game's great
This is just a trial and you can only get so far before it asks for $6 to keep going. It took so long to figure out what was going on and it was entertaining thus far, but it's shady to hide a mandatory pay feature in a game listed as only having in-app purchases, not as a trial.
So i would of given this app 5 stars had it not been for the fact that i played the lite version until it asked me to pay £5.49 to have the full version, i paid it the money left my account but when i reached the end of chapter 1 it finished and i cant get past it only to find there is a full version on here so i went to see if it would download as ive already paid for the full version and its asking me to pay again. Refund me my money please i am not happy i paid £5.49 for an incomplete game!!
