AmilaAbout this app
Developer Description
Contractions app is a simple way to recognize true labor and false contractions
1. It gives you an idea how far along in labor you are;
2. You can determine a pattern early on;
3. Your own counting can help your doctor in the assessment of your labor.
The contraction tracker app helps you:
- to save all your pregnancy contractions history;
- to check your contractions timing;
- to distinguish between Braxton Hicks contractions (practice contractions or false contractions) and labor contractions (real contractions).
Contraction Timer is a free app.

It's a great app for counting contractions and showing you a list of the counted contractions with duration and rest intervals. I wish there was a way to add comments to each encounter and to edit. For example, I walked away from my phone to wash dishes and I had two contractions in that time that I couldn't log. Also, I have pregnancy brain pretty bad and I might forget to stop it from timing the contraction. I like this app better than the other highly rated one cause of ease of use.
Used during the last two days of my pregnancy... it helped me out by letting me know how long in between my contractions were and recorded the times so I could compare. I was not impressed and thought that there should have been some more options on the app, as it is pretty basic. However, maybe basic is what I needed at the time. 4stars
No night-mode, I got an intrusive ad the second time I tried to use it and I didn't try again as I was rather too busy to deal with that at the time.
Too basic. Wanted to edit a contraction but there's no option to. No note feature either
Not user friendly. Sad
