About this app
A reliable compass with a direction recorder. Navigate without GPS.
The Compass Trail app offers you a classic compass with an additional feature - a vertical direction recorder graph. This allows you not only to determine the direction but also to hold and record a set direction for more accurate orientation. With our app, you can confidently and accurately move in the desired direction, even without access to GPS. No hassle, just a reliable compass right on your device!
To enter you need to confirm that you are over 18 years old and accept the rules. The main function of the application is located at the bottom of the screen - it is a compass direction recorder, directions are recorded in the form of a vertical graph, this allows you to track how the direction has changed over time. You can also use the (TARGET) button to set a target. Select the width of the target fixation sector using the (STRICT) button; above this button, the width of the sector is indicated in degrees. The (BACK) button draws a dotted line on the graph that is 180 degrees away from the target, for a more accurate direction if you want to set the target in the opposite direction. The (TIME) button switches the recording frequency in the history graph from 0.03 sec to 10 sec, above this button there is information about the recording frequency and recording duration that will fit on the history graph at the current setting. The (RESET) button erases the direction history screen. Above this button, the time that has passed since the last history reset is indicated. Also in the center of the compass at the top of the screen there is an accelerometer sight, the position of which affects the color of the graph and the compass scale, this is necessary so that you understand whether you are holding your compass correctly, since in extreme positions it gives incorrect values and this can be shown on the history by color see. additional information in the Help menu in settings
