As a part of a religious education institution called Pondok Pesantren, Darussalam Gontor University (UNIDA Gontor) implements a dormitory system, which is a characteristic of the pesantren education system. The system regulates where mosques, dormitories, lecture halls, libraries, offices, sports facilities, lecturer housing and other facilities are located within an integrated campus.

Such a system creates an environment conducive to
intensive learning and interaction between students and lecturers. This exclusive dormitory system really guarantees the inculcation of the values of tolerance, self-reliance, leadership and others. With this integral system university, UNIDA Gontor is designed to realize its vision and mission.

Because academic and non-academic activities are integrated in one system, the assessment of academic achievement and academic support of students is combined, so that the overall potential and achievements of students in all fields while they study at UNIDA Gontor can be known and evaluated. This is also to develop the intellectual, spiritual and physical potential of students in a balanced and comprehensive manner.

As one of the supports in the management of lecture data administration, UNIDA Gontor has a UNIDA Gontor Mobile application, which is managed by the UNIDA Gontor IT AMOLED team and the Information and Communication Technology Service Center (PPTIK).
