Honestly, I am loving the aesthetic of this game. Every inch is bathed in cyberpunk. Even the "Lost connection to the Internet" screen that most games have is replaced with "Reconnecting to mainframe" in red matrix block lettering. It seems like the devs have put a lot of care into the design and immersion of the game. Not every screen is perfectly intuitive but exploring the options leans more towards rewarding than tedious. I'm quite looking forward to more for this game!

If you want a virtual world that doesn't eat too much of your space.... This is the world, the city of infinite possibilities,with its own hierarchy of power, a place where you can really feel the thrill of grinding experience paying off, a bridge between two worlds irregardless of where you are, a planet aside from your own, Arclight city.

There are some major steps up from the last game, but also steps down. I like the new gear mechanics and leveling mechanics a lot, however the social side to it has been severely limited. There's a lot of bugs, but it's still early in development so I'm assuming they'll eventually be patched. My main 2 issues are 1) the use of AI in EVERYTHING and 2) the game is very pay to play, unlike the first one, which disappoints me. Ironically, I feel more adverse to paying now versus in cybercode.
