Explore the story of the former student of Professor Child, who comes to her mentor's aid following his mysterious disappearance on a quest to uncover the secrets of the philosopher's stone.

Embark on a wonderful adventure which will lead you to an island inhabited by a mysterious order. Face a dangerous enemy trying to claim an unbelievably powerful ancient artifact and save your mentor!

The heroine gets a request for assistance from Professor Child, her mentor and long-time friend. She soon discovers that he had been kidnapped and that his disappearance is connected to the search for a powerful ancient artifact – the philosopher's stone.

Her only clue is a magical medallion which leads her to the island of Cannon Rock, the seat of the ancient Order of the Rose. During her investigation she learns that the artifact is also sought by evil powers who will stop at nothing to claim it for themselves.

In order to save her mentor and find the philosopher's stone, Professor Child's most talented pupil will have to prove her intellect and mettle while exploring the gloomy island and solving numerous puzzles.

Can she defeat the dark powers who also seek the artifact?

I would probably rate this game a 3 1/2 if it were possible but it's not. The game is quite long, which I appreciate, but it's slightly tedious. There's not much originality and it takes some odd paths to the final goal. Also, most of the puzzles are more about trial and error than about smart actions, so for me, this means skipping a lot of them. I just don't enjoy the process of trying every possible result. Also, what are achievements? I don't get this.

It was aggravating! The puzzles & game play are anything but fun or entertaining. The goal of the objects & the puzzles are buried under an attempt at a story. There's is no direction or link between locations, objects & puzzles. I had to click on every inch of the screen to find anything. I quickly lost patience & consulted a walk through. I had to follow it, almost step-by-step. It wasn't playing a game, it was following instructions. I uninstalled before I got halfway thru.

The graphics are bad. Even when you get up close it's hard to tell what certain things are. When asking for a hint it will tell me to go into a different area and once I'm in the area and I click hint it'll tell me to go right back where I just came from and it just keeps doing that. Also the mini games some of them don't work right.
