Like in facemash, Waifu vs Waifu picks two random characters and you get to choose which character you like more. Each character has their own rating which changes based on the choices. The game has two separate modes:
- Global mode uses the choices of all players to create the rankings.
- Personal mode only takes into account your own choices.
