I have the free version, it does ok. You are able to mark Trail and take pictures along your route and it does fine. If you get in a straight section sort of like a fire Road or Highway it will not to do the actual Trail but maybe a straight line signifying that it's not catching all the details of what you just ran through. Overall I am happy with this version
Gives a reasonably accurate GPS of the route but slight variance when backtracking the same trail. Does not do equestrian specific things like gaits. If you accidentally close the app in the middle of recording an activity, it did recover the route to that point when you relaunch the app, at least when you do it soon.
*Such a shame to have to uninstall this app. after 8yrs of use. But i will not pay a monthly fee. *After several emails, some of my trails were recovered. *Update: I can't upload any trails. Which is the main reason for this app. I had to uninstall, then reinstall trying to get my trips to upload. It lost 2yrs of trails. Even the ones that were already uploaded. Very unhappy 😭 Love how your pictures drop like a pin on the trail your mapping. Very useful! 👍 Do wish it had mapped trails though.
Data is erased if not uploaded in an unknowen amount of time
Ramblr is getting worse each day. It seems always having caching and map loading issue. Since last Nov, its beautiful Mapy Map has become blank. Since last month, their outdated OSM Topo map is getting difficult to load. Clearing cookies or relogin won't help. In sum, I am very disappointed in the current Ramblr. Now, always no viewable map with routes can be used and it becomes useless.
