Nasra Public School (NPS) is a shining beacon of hope in the realm of education, established in 2004 as a social enterprise with a noble mission - to provide affordable quality education to K-10 girls and boys from mid-income families in Karachi. Rooted in the rich legacy of the Education Trust Nasra Schools (ETNS) system, which was founded in 1949, NPS continues the tradition of making quality education accessible and affordable to all.

The journey at Nasra Public School begins with Early Childhood Education & Development (ECED), catering to children aged 2.5 to 3.5 years old. Recognizing the crucial years for growth and skill acquisition, our pre-primary section, consisting of nursery, junior prep, and senior prep levels, focuses on creating a stimulating and safe learning environment. Highly qualified and specially trained teachers foster a supportive relationship with the young learners, encouraging their creativity and independence. The High Scope approach to teaching centers around active learning, enabling children to develop social, cognitive, and emotional skills, laying a strong foundation for their educational journey.
As students’ progress to the Primary School (Grade III to V), NPS instills knowledge, skills, and values that serve as a bedrock for their future education and careers. Utilizing the model of Bloom's Taxonomy, our instructors facilitate student-centered learning, encouraging intellectual growth and independent thought processes. This approach builds a curriculum that prioritizes individual learning and critical thinking, preparing students for the challenges of the 21st century.
The Secondary School (Grade VI to X) guides students through the final years of their schooling. NPS offers the science group of subjects in two streams: Pre-Medical and Computer Science, following the Matric board system. Our well-equipped science and computer labs provide an optimal environment for students to excel in their studies. Beyond academics, co-curricular activities play a pivotal role in shaping well-rounded individuals, instilling values of teamwork, fair play, and creativity.
Throughout their time at NPS, students participate in a diverse range of activities, from STEM and Art exhibitions to Poetry Elocution & Debate Competitions, Open-Project Day, Environmental activities, and Field Trips.
