Comes up with a comprehensive list of open news. Only app I've found that is this comprehensive. As for ads, I'll see one full screen ad maybe 2 out of 3 times I use the app and it's usually after going back to the home page like the third time. That's usually when I'm done on my way out anyway. Also, I'm always able to just tap the exit/refuse button and it's gone, no funky stuff trying to close the app. So, IMHO ads are no big deal with this app.

I wish that i would not have to leave the app to read the full story. Could be somehow fetched and prepared like it's done in other services readitlater pocket etc.

Nice concept, but there are three reasons I had to uninstall it: - Insane memory consumption (regularly killed background apps on my Nexus 6P) - Too many adds with no way to remove them (?) - How come an app about open source is not open source itself?

While app is great, please check what ads you show. almost all ads are scantily clad women from ads of tiktok and similar apps. not something one would expect from technology news app.

The kind of application that publish news about open source but break the concept of it. Not only the ads pop out. They occupied large part of the reading screen. And the contents are mostly summary. You still have to click into the origin site to read. To be honest, if you like to follow on open source news. You might as well subscribed on their newsletters on respective site. 0/5, be grateful we can only rate as low as 1 star.
