Not sure where I can submit bug details. Everything is working on the system, I was able to make contacts on 10m. I wanted to play with the 2m & 70cm band, and when I tune to both those bands it tunes the radio to 44.460 instead of 144.460 and will tune to 30.510 instead of 430.510. All other bands tune properly. I'm using a IC-705 and a Galaxy S21. For a quick fix I'm manually tuning into the frequency after opening the app. Keep up the great work.
I used this app recently with my uBitX during a 6 day canoe trip. I managed to make a few contacts and successful activate a POTA station. The interface isn't great but once you figure it all out it's not so bad to used in the field. I'll keep using this app when portable, it doesn't replace WSJTX but sure makes FT8 in the filed easy. I would recommend this app for field work understanding it's limitations.
It works well from a technical perspective, but the overwhelming majority of FT8 contacts follow a different QSO format than what is hardcoded into the app, which cannot be modified, so can't really use it.
Decode seams to work. Reporting on PSKReporter does no acknowledge any receive activity. Not sure how To edit TX window or create own presets. My callsign with visiting prefix added, truncated last 2 digits of gride square. Good start, hope to see some further refinements.
Won't Transmit. I used the same setup and wiring that I use for WSJT-X on my laptop. The vendor said to turn the volume down on the phone. I also made sure that the phone volume doesn't turn up inside the app settings. It still doesn't transmit properly but it does receive. ALC is 100. Power output is 0 Watts. I'm using a Xiegu G90 in the settings because this is the radio I'm using. It doesn't matter what I do. Don't Purchase. You cannot adjust your ALC or power like you can in WSJT-X. Junk!
