Younger Travel helps the elderly to enhance their cognitive functioning.
Younger Travel Season 2 is a game designed to help elderly players enhance cognitive functioning and prevent dementia. It was co-developed by C2Monster and the Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine of Samsung Medical Center, who have combined their experiences in developing content and professional medical knowledge to assist an increasingly aging society.
The game provides training for the frontal, parietal, and temporal lobes—the main cognitive areas of brain—through a “traveling” theme in which users embark on an exercise tour and participate in various activities within the story and setting. Training covers not only basic cognitive functions like attention, memory, and visuospatial perception, but also high-level functions such as executive functioning, problem solving, and computability.
