What is SHISHAMO?
A 3-piece rock band consisting of Gt.Vo Asako Miyazaki, Ba Aya Matsuoka, and Dr Misaki Yoshikawa.
Formed in the Kawasaki General Science High School Design Department (Light Music Club) in Kawasaki City, and started full-scale band activities in the spring of 2013 when graduating from high school. In November of the same year, the debut album "SHISHAMO" was released.
In January 2016, the first solo performance of "Nippon Budokan" was sold out in just two years after the CD debut. The album "SHISHAMO 4" was released in February 2017, and at the end of the year, he made his first appearance in the "68th NHK Red and White Song Battle".
On June 20, 2018, the 5th anniversary of their CD debut, they released their 5th new album "SHISHAMO 5". From November, a year-long tour from 2018 to 2019
