• Build your career on carefully reasoned contracts, or party all night with the skeletal partners at your firm.

• Balance student loans, sleep, daily commute, rent payments, and demonic litigation—hey, nobody said being a wizard was always fun.

This is the choose-your-own-adventure I use to measure all others. The writing is witty and dry with some of the most delightful descriptions I've come across. Excellent works building that treats the arcane abs patently absurd as completely ordinary - true to the setting. I seldom replay these more than a few times, but I've played this the same way several times over just to reread the story.

Wonderful story, but the aimed-for replay value is lost by omitting a back button or save scores, at least for chapters. That turns exploring options after the story is known into a joyless chore.

For a game you have to buy u assume theirs a lot of content .. well not really you have about 5 chapters which will take u no longer then a hour and you can't even pay ur debt off by the end no matter which way you play .. it's disappointing since the story and the writing is brilliant.
