So back when I was 13-14 (1999/2000), I was riding my bike around the neighborhood when I see an Arcade machine laying out in front of a house in the ditch looking a little scuffed, but in great condition. I had a habit of picking up junk and taking it home, but I freaked out when I saw it. I rush home and tell my dad to get the truck and that I needed to get this thing and then I flew back as quick as I could to make sure nothing happened to it. Dad eventually finds me and knocks on the door of the house and finds out that the dudes wife was making him get rid of it since it was just collecting dust. We eventually load it up and I'm having a full blown panic attack from being a kid with a -maybe- working arcade machine. We get it back home and dad runs an extension out to check if it even turned on and...it didn't. Luckily, Dad used to work on slot/arcade machines before I was born, so he opened the back and fiddled with it and got it to boot. After teaching me how to adjust the pots on the inside for screen calibration we somehow manage to make bring it to my bedroom and I had my own arcade. Manuals and everything were inside and I poured over them learning how to change the dip switches for different settings and such. Unfortunately, when I went to college it got put into a storage unit that my parents eventually weren't able to pay on and, along with quite a lot of sentimental family things, the machine was gone. This game fills me with so many memories. Thank you so much for porting it to something I can play again whenever I like.

Good copy of the original but the buttons are too close together and too small so it's too easy to press the wrong button orno button at all.

Great! but just like phoenix the fire and sheild buttons are too small and placed to close together if that was fixed people with bigger hands than kids like most of us would have a far more enjoyable and reminiscent gaming experience!??! (22/05/21) Cheers guys😁 Quick thanks 4 upgrading the buttons on android devices 4 the 80s classic phoenix game!! EXCellent huge improvement in dexterity accuracy 4 movement etc with new buttons! Just waiting 4 the same upgrades for pleiades now good people!?

Very addictive arcade game, but even on Easy mode it's very tough. I have a major issue with the move button controls, I used the right button and ship would slide left, and same with other button. PLEASE, PLEASE can you make the MOVE BUTTONS BIGGER!! Many thanks if you can 😃 This is why I rate this game only 2 stars due to the MOVE buttons being way too small. WARP button isn't very effective either!! 🙄😒 Should be a SHIELD button like the PHOENIX game. UNINSTALLING until the issue is fixed
