Chat Medallo is an innovative messaging application designed to connect people in Medellín. Developed in Flutter, Chat Medallo offers a smooth user experience on both Android and iOS devices.

1. Authentication and Security:
Chat Medallo uses Firebase for user authentication, ensuring secure and efficient login. Users can register and access the application quickly and securely.

2. Push and Local Notifications:
The app incorporates Firebase Cloud Messaging and Flutter Local Notifications to keep users informed of new messages, even when they are not in the app. Notifications are configured so that they are not received when users are active in the chat, avoiding unnecessary interruptions.

3. Customizable Profiles:
Each user has a customizable profile where they can upload photos, add a description and see the number of 'peaks' (virtual kisses) received. If a user has not uploaded a profile photo, a default image is displayed for visual consistency.

4. Search for Friends:
Users can search for new friends by filtering by gender and age range. This functionality uses an intuitive interface with dropdowns and sliders for a more precise and relevant search.

5. Individual and Group Chat:
The application allows private chats between users. In addition, work is being done on the implementation of group chats to encourage greater interaction between users.

6. Message Reply Functionality:
Users can reply to specific messages within a conversation, similar to WhatsApp's functionality, making it easy to follow multiple conversation threads.

7. Blocking and Reporting of Users:
To ensure a safe environment, users will have the option to block or report other users, helping to maintain a respectful community free of inappropriate behavior.

8. Delete Account:
Users can delete their account and all their personal data through a dedicated screen, ensuring they have full control over their information.

9. Integration with Social Networks:
The main screen of the application includes buttons for social networks and a sharing option, making it easy to promote Chat Medallo among friends and acquaintances.
