Read notes & drum notation v2.19.40
Classplash LdaAbout this app
The Read notes & drum notation app, also known as Rhythmic Village, solves the problem of music education for kids by providing an interactive platform to learn music notation and drumming skills. This app benefits parents and educators seeking to introduce music education to children in an engaging manner. Compared to other education apps, Rhythmic Village stands out with its unique focus on rhythm and music, but falls short in terms of comprehensive music theory coverage. Its simplicity and ease of use make it an excellent starting point for young learners.
Pros
- With over 50,000 downloads and a good user rating of 3.6/5, Rhythmic Village demonstrates social proof and a generally positive user experience, indicating that it is a well-received and effective tool for music education.
- The app's lack of ads and limited in-app purchases, ranging from $4.99 to $9.99, suggests a relatively non-aggressive monetization strategy that prioritizes user experience over profit.
- The developer, Classplash Lda, provides a professional website and support email, indicating a commitment to customer support and transparency.
- Rhythmic Village's offline capability and zero permissions required suggest a focus on user privacy and data security, making it a trustworthy choice for parents and educators.
- The app's regular updates, as evidenced by its version history, demonstrate the developer's ongoing effort to improve and expand the app's features and functionality.
Cons
- One concern is the limited data available on the app's downloads and user ratings, which might not accurately represent its overall performance and user satisfaction.
- Some users might find the in-app purchases necessary to access full functionality, which could be a barrier for those seeking a comprehensive music education experience without additional costs.
- The app's focus on rhythm and drumming might not provide a comprehensive music education, potentially limiting its usefulness for users seeking a broader musical curriculum.
- The lack of detailed information about the app's data collection and usage policies, despite requiring no permissions, raises questions about how user data is handled and protected.
Best for: The ideal user for Rhythmic Village is a child between the ages of 6 and 12, with little to no prior music education, who is interested in learning the basics of music notation and drumming in an engaging and interactive way, under the guidance of a parent or educator who can provide additional support and context to the app's teachings.

Absolutely awesome rhythm game, I tried out several others before settling on this one. The difficulty settings make it approachable for young kids and the cute characters keep them engaged. I love the variety of subgames, currently 4 different game modes that help teach the subject from different angles. Overall a great game, it engages kids while being very educational. I'd love additional markers for the fastest tempo a level was beaten with, but that's a tiny complaint.
I love it! As a suggestion, could there be an option for the 16th notes to be said as Ta-Va-Ki-Di? I was taught using that system and would like to teach my students using that too.
Great game! Only wish there was more free content.
I bought the application in October, and now in November I'm asked to pay again. The license is only monthly?
You can't play for long until you pay
