Beat Hazard 2 users say on Google Play
I have over 300 hours on Beat Hazard 2 for PC. This is that game but understandably stripped down. There's a lot of bugs here though and I've lost my save data twice. I've only had the game for a day. I can't get the radio stations to work at all. I've spent 3 hours downloading music only for the game to not recognize any of it. I've spent way more time frustrated than having fun. Just trying to get it to work the way I need it to. Oh well. I know it's a great game. Just so irritated with it.
Beat Hazard 2 has alot of improvements, and even better UI and a more competitive feel to the game with the ships and various power ups you can use at your disposal. My gripe really is the same as the first game, and I hope the developer sees more of this in reviews. This game's mobile controls needs to have it where the virtual joysticks you can place them where ever you want them too, and you could even implement a transparency slider so the player can still see behind the virtual sticks.
There is a bug in the controller setup that only allows three of the four analogue inputs on the controller in game. It's impossible to get past the controller config screen without assigning one button with two actions. I love the game on Steam, and I also wish there was some cross-save support. Pixel 4 XL with an Xbox One S controller.
There's an issue with the resolution on my s tablet 9 that means I have to tap north of every button to select it. That's irritating but manageable in menus, but it's almost unplayable in game because I'm getting screwed trying to select power ups, with the game not registering the selection and so I'm taking losses that aren't my fault. I've played it on steam and it's a great game, but the android port needs work. That being said, the people saying you can't play your own music are wrong.
Constant force closing. The game is absolutely phenomenal on Steam, so bought it on Android. Couldn't be more disappointed. Having a controller connected directly just causes an app crash - neither shoutcast streams nor any music that is stored externally can be found (could only launch when I disconnected the controller). I would ask for my money back if it weren't for the game being so addictive (on windows at least). I recommend buying it on your PC and steering clear of this version.
