Excellent mechanics, and an incredibly rich puzzle set. You get 90 puzzles for free, but there are weekly puzzles as well, so you're always getting a little bit of new free content. There are hundreds of level packs beyond the free ones, and they are certainly worth their cost, especially considering that this app is completely ad-free. I would 100% recommended this to anyone who enjoys Nurikabe, or who wants to find out what this little number game is like.
Great logic puzzle .. good mental exercise. User interface is intuitive. Would recommend to people who enjoy puzzle solving.
Love nurikabe, I can appreciate the monetization, but I want a way to mark a square so I can explore whether it works or not if I am unsure, and this doesn't have that, like the other apps with nurikabe I have tried. Sadly, this gets an uninstalled because I can't solve the harder puzzles without a toll like that.
On my phone, the game seems to have a bug in which it doesn't recognize when the puzzle is actually solved. After completing the first puzzle, when nothing happened, I actually clicked [solve] to see if I'd missed something, and I hadn't. The puzzle cleared out after that. I tried the next puzzle, and the same thing happened. Instructions seem clear enough, so I'm left to conclude that it's a bug. It doesn't seem very challenging for me, anyway.
Game/Computer Program does not recognize (alternate) correct answers that are not same as the program's single correct answer. UPDATE: Conceptis- On some of the puzzles there can be more than one solution even though there is only one correct solution according to your program. The rules were followed. I tested this theory.
