Developer Description
Play chess using only your voice - against others, computer engines & blindfold
Are your hands busy making dinner? Or are you relaxing in a tub? Exercising on a treadmill? With Verbal Chess, you can play against computer engines or against players around the world using only your voice. There's no need to touch the screen.
Have trouble interacting with the piece images on the screen? With Verbal Chess, the entire app is controllable by your voice. Physical limitations aren't a barrier to your playing chess.
And for blindfold chess, you can lean back in your recliner, close your eyes and play the entire game. Since Verbal Chess announces your opponent's moves, you never have to look at the screen.
Verbal Chess is unique in that every part of the program (except login passwords) can be controlled by your voice - every screen, every option and every move. Even program navigation can be done with only your voice. Once connected, you never have to touch the screen to enjoy every aspect of Verbal Chess.
If working with the screen because of a physical handicap is a problem, with Verbal Chess you can have fun playing chess.
Or are your hands busy? Maybe something simple like holding a sloppy burger and you would like to play a game while eating, Verbal Chess can do that for you.

The Chess app for your real physical wooden board! No more screen! (against stockfish or friends) No more overpriced DGT chessboard computers! Physical visualization is the best way to play! Maybe playable offline with tablets one day... in parcs, chalet, camping, on road, lets hope! (with more than one take-back move against computer... pity for beginers ;)
It does what is says it does; you can play chess with voice commands. You can even play games on lichess via the app+lichess API, which is pretty cool. I sometimes have to repeat moves, so might be frustrating if playing faster time formats. You can use the phonetic alphabet, but I've actually found the speech recognition decent at understanding just the letter names. Fun to use for blindfold games.
it sometimes cant comprehend what im saying but useful in times i dont wanna touch my phone
when i say like knight take d5 it can't properly hear me i shouted many kinds of different tone it still doesn't work it can only accurately hear e4 e5 or any first pawn moves
Worst app, this app can't deferentiat between b and d properly, if I say bishop b 5 it moves something wrong, need lot of improvement and also this app is wrong when we say e4 Or a4
