Finally someone figured out how to do the meal kit right! Of all the ones I've tried, Dinnerly tastes great and has the easiest-to-follow recipes with options for good, quick meals you can make in like 15-20 minutes if you want. User friendly app makes it easy to customize orders and change the delivery schedule, as well as access the recipes so you don't have 100 big meal cards and other paper waste cluttering up your life. Would recommend 10/10
Ok so I kind of love this thing. 1) I like that I get 3 dinners every week that I have to put 0 planning, 0 shopping, 0 thought into. Dinner is covered. 2) it's actually not that expensive compared to what I would spend at the store, and it's very convenient. 3) most of the recipes I have really liked. Down sides- 1) I'm not a planner. You have to pay for it and choose meals or to skip a delivery a week in advance. 2) I wish there were more veggies
I really appreciate the variety in meals, but they leave out some things that are very inexpensive, such as raw garlic or vinegar packets (when required for the recipe.) I think they expect people to already have these things, but that defeats the point of ordering this meal kit.
I gave it a try. I have yet to make anything but I noticed there are several items I have to come up with for the recipes that are not included in the box. Like eggs, butter, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, red wine vinegar & one dish has fresh garlic in the pic but comes with garlic powder. And no mention of fresh in the recipe!? Plus it's all basic food I could get cheaper at the store & the recipes are simple ones I would have made without help. I'm not placing another order.
Box was undelivered, contacted support and refund was $4 short. Next week ingredient missing and some mold on the cucumbers. Lastly, the amount they show as charging in the app is always $3-$4 less than what is actually taken out of your account. Lastly, when I canceled today I have one more box coming, to take advantage of the refund for missing ingredients. However after I canceled, the app shows nothing so will see if I get my food as they have already charged me.
