hello and welcome to this detailed review of wonderboy the dragons trap which is a remake of the master system version way back in the 1990,s which was 8 bit game, this has been updated with new graphics and sound and remastered, which it plays the same as the original version, im playing this on my android phone as was on offer . The game play and levels , being updated , play the same as it did before and the remastered version is wonderfully reproduced with modern visuals, its a great game and will spend hours playing it to find all those areas, my only concern is the controls being a bit laggy or not 100% correct, this is when trying to do jump attacks or jumping to platforms. on a android it can be a bit hard to pull off. would have been nice if they added more areas to find and expanded the original as its a bit short. overal a great game , and would recomend. 4/5

The graphics are great. You can resize the control pad and action buttons, in addition to repositioning them, but somehow this does not fix the issues with slow response. I wasn't able to jump and hit the first level boss even on the easy level. My character couldn't jump high enough at the right moment to do any damage. No matter what I did, it's health stayed at 100%

A revised review of the game. Overall it's an okay port, but there are a myriad of issues, as listed from experience here: The title screen is an amalgamation between the Wonder Boy and Girl variants. Occasionally attack or spell buttons fail to work. The Tasmanian Sword can glitch and no longer allow you to switch forms. Mouse-Man's hidden challenge area for his charmstone bugs the control pad during the high platforming bit, making him veer off to the right and back down to the bottom.

The graphics and music are great but when I try to play it the character will barely move (the game characters movement is frozen and very slow motion). I have a lenovo tablet 10 and tried downloading the game multiple times but to no avail since the problem persists. I want my money back. Such a shame for what appeared to be an excellent game.
