I love all the down dog apps and have been using them for 4 years. When I got pregnant I was so excited to finally try out the prenatal version! Ill say I kept doing the normal yoga app with modifications for the first half of pregnancy but for the second half I have absolutely loved this! Such a great way to get daily movement in.
I enjoy this app, but the music selections are too energetic and have high BPMs for the "Ambient" selection. There is no ability to exclude certain poses, so you have to interrupt your flow to skip the pose. For pregnant women, we should definitely have the ability to exclude certain poses because we are prone to certain limitations. Otherwise, this app does make it easy to get regular exercise and stretches in.
It's nice the app but the exercises are the same all the time.
I'm sure it's great for people who already do yoga or have a decent amount of flexibility already. Not good for absolute beginners. I was not physically capable of doing their introductory poses and there isn't any options for modifications. Glad there's a free trial so I could find out it's 100% not for me before spending money on it
I had given this app a 5 star review when I first got it, but now two years in a row they've charged me for the yearly subscription plan despite me cancelling my subscription and making sure my auto renew was turned OFF both times.
