A tool to digitize active and latent TB screening and treatment in Lebanon.

A free to use for public health tool to digitize screening, testing, and treatment for active TB and latent TB infection in Lebanon. Prevent TB Lebanon is a digital platform that enables community health workers to register and screen individuals from groups vulnerable to TB like prisoners, refugees, and contacts of known TB patients. Based on their screening and TB infection testing outcomes, identified clients can then be referred to health facilities for TB-related testing and care. The app provides dual role-based access, where health facility users can also log in to enter the TB test details of referred clients and further start their TB and preventive TB treatments. The application aims to assist healthcare workers in efficiently tracking their patients’ treatment across the cascade of care and at the same time facilitate overall disease surveillance and patient support.
