The acid-base calculator allows you to easily record individual foods and recipes (from BASISCH LECKER) and add them to your daily balance. You can also scan products with a barcode - then find out how these are metabolized (basic, neutral, good or bad acid generator) and can add them as well. HOW DOES THE CALCULATION WORK?

In order to calculate the ratio of your food, we convert everything into grams in the background and add up the respective food categories - neutral foods are not included. Due to their high water content and in order to avoid distortions, beverages only make up 1/3 of the total statics.

Therefore, the app is not a scientific method for calculating the exact acid-base balance, but it offers you a good indicator for self-control.


WHICH DATA BASE DO WE USE?

We use the BASISCH LECKER acid-base table as a data basis for the individual foods, which you can also download from the app store. The recipe information comes from the BASISCH LECKER REZEPTE app (available for a fee in the app store). For the scan function we use the free database for food "Open Food Facts", from which we read the individual components of a food and then evaluate them in detail.


WHAT DOES THE APP COST?

You can test the app for 7 days completely free of charge and without obligation. After the 7 days you can opt for a monthly subscription for € 0.99 per month or an annual subscription for € 9.99. The app is ad-free, can be used without login, your data is with you and will not be processed by us.


NOTE

We recommend that the proportion of alkaline foods should not exceed 80% in the long run. If you have any doubts about what your individual relationship should look like in the alkaline diet, discuss this with your doctor or alternative practitioner.
