Enki: Learn to code v2.40.5
enki.comAbout this app
Enki: Learn to code solves the problem of accessible and personalized coding education by providing an AI-powered mentor for coding, data, and technical skills, benefiting individuals looking to acquire or improve their programming skills, particularly those in the early stages of their career or transitioning into tech roles. Compared to alternatives in the Education category, Enki stands out with its AI-driven approach and comprehensive skill coverage. However, its effectiveness depends on the quality of its AI mentorship and the depth of its content, areas where it may fall short if not continuously updated and expanded. With a strong user rating and significant download numbers, Enki demonstrates a successful approach to coding education.
Pros
- Enki's AI-powered mentorship offers personalized learning paths, which is a significant advantage for users who benefit from tailored educational content, enhancing their learning experience and efficiency.
- With over 1 million downloads and a 4.6/5 user rating, Enki has established a strong reputation for quality and effectiveness, indicating a high level of user satisfaction and social proof.
- The absence of ads ensures an uninterrupted learning experience, allowing users to focus on acquiring new skills without distractions, which is a notable advantage over ad-supported alternatives.
- Enki's comprehensive coverage of coding, data, and technical skills makes it a one-stop solution for individuals looking to broaden their skill set in these areas, offering convenience and versatility.
- The developer's commitment to updates, as indicated by the version history, suggests a dedication to improving and expanding the app's capabilities, ensuring users have access to the latest educational content and features.
Cons
- The in-app purchase model, with prices ranging from $7.99 to $74.99 per item, might be perceived as expensive by some users, potentially limiting accessibility for those on a tight budget or preferring a one-time purchase option.
- Despite its AI-driven approach, the effectiveness of Enki's mentorship may vary depending on individual learning styles and the complexity of the subjects covered, which could lead to mixed results for some users.
- The lack of information on the specific data collected and how it is used, despite not requesting permissions, raises questions about privacy and data security, which could be a concern for users sensitive to these issues.
- The requirement for Android 7.0 or later might exclude users with older devices, limiting the app's reach and accessibility to a broader audience, including those in regions with less access to newer technology.
Best for: The ideal user for Enki: Learn to code is likely an individual in their early to mid-career, possibly looking to transition into a role requiring coding skills, or a student in a field related to computer science or data analysis, who is seeking a comprehensive, personalized, and accessible platform to learn or improve their coding and technical skills.

really like it it's a good app for learning programming language for beginners,I'm a 9th grader leading programming and I find it very easy through this app everything is explained in detail
Enki is very helpful and a fun way to test your knowledge if you're willing to pay for the subscription. The reason I'm not leaving a five star review is because most of the features that should be available by default are part of the subscription but other than that I really like the app.
I've been charged for the app after the free trial but I can't log in. can dev help here? already emailed dev.
Frankly, I don't like the app. The color scheme is dull, there's nothing fun about any of the exercises, and I have complaints about the continuous log in issues and the "AI". It presents itself as more than it really is. I'm saying this after having the subscription for almost a year and trying to get into it many times. I've made more progress in coding in BRILLIANT than this app. Brilliant isn't even an app that strictly focuses on coding. It's just more fun and engaging. This app,Not for me.
Not much of a learning app if you hide the tool meant to better explain concepts to you behind a paywall. Like what do you mean I can only ask for help once a day???? I feel like I'm freefalling because I don't know what I'm doing, can't get the help or hints I need, and only get an extremely minimal amount of examples without just looking in the community tab and getting the right answer right away.
