Track Buses and Trains in London UK
That way you can see roughly how public transport is distributed around the city as well as around your current GPS position as reported by your mobile device.
The app also provides users functionality to simply click on a bus or trains top to see the arrival times to that stop point.
This project is still in development and has a few bugs that are being ironed out.

I was very excited to use this app, but to my dismay, upon opening the app I was very disappointed. Yes it's good that you can track trains and buses but there is so much confusing information that it's difficult for the system to cope with. I also tried to zoom out to see where I used to live in South East London but the system was slow and eventually the app stopped and I had to reload it but still had the same issue.
