great app. the most user friendly option. with zero experience, it's still friendly. good user interface

These issues are resolved. E*TRADE intentionally slows down or disables real-time auto-refresh at premarket and after hours 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼. There are people who still trade at those hours. I hope that developers can overcome the real-time threads being terminated after switching to another app. However, when the ETrade app is active again, these threads should resume. Currently, I have to log out and log back in to get the real-time updates.

the banking features need to add search abilities so searches can be done by check number, text or amount ranges. Now it shows an error when trying to get account alerts, "Could not load your alerts".

Not user-friendly. Takes several clicks to see the limit price on an open order. No way to see realized gain/loss. Generally, the UI is extremely clunky. It's like the people who make it don't use it themselves so even the most common tasks are painfully inconvenient! It doesn't even come close to apps like Robinhood, Fidelity, or Schwab. If my company didn't use E-Trade for ESPP, I'd close my account immediately. The only reason it managed to even get 2 stars is because it's mostly functional

Still having log in issues same bug for most of 2025 and still hasnt been fixed and I know im not the only one. I can only log in twice before I have to restart my phone. Try a third time logging in, it just times out and wants to close the app
