Lead the noble Daqan army as they fearlessly defend their homeland from the invading hordes of the Uthuk Y’llan– demon-blooded barbarians spreading chaos and destruction wherever they go. Or, lead the Uthuk Y’llan and channel their fury into military supremacy.

Great adaptation of the board game and runs smoothly on smartphone. Worth the price of admission. I hope they continue to support this by adding some of the neutral units and upcoming Undead faction from the core game. More multiplayer maps/modes and the ability to select your role on non-deathmatch games would also be a plus.
I own the board game and the app and enjoy both. The game can feel difficult with rolling a lot of misses but none of the scenarios really took me more than a few tries and I thought it was a good representation of the board game, although there are some differences between the real game and the app. My issue is just that the app can be a little clunky, and I often get a glitch where I have to tap to the left of what I want to select, but over all it's solid.
Bought this for tactical skirmish. However most of the best units are locked until you finished campaign. Mind you the campaign is hard. Campaign AI is rigged and always has advantage. So here i am after buying the expansion, still trying to finish the damn campaign for fourth time and still hoping the dev would add option to save my campaign progress on cloud. Just because i switched to another phone i have to replay the whole campaign again?
Difficult is not too bad until you get to Rookery at which point it becomes nearly impossible. Have tried many times with no success. Getting ready to just quit...discouraged. Update: the dice are rigged. Throwing tons of misses. AI throws few... With devastating results. Example: ordered 3 archers, unmoving, and used lore that let's me fire anywhere on the board. Total rolls: 18. Total hits? TWO. Update; Wrote to developer. No response.
Seems like a well polished game except for one game breaking element. My units almost never score hits against enemy ai units. I have used the mage ability giving my archers the ability to take an extra shot per turn. Combined with darken the skies which negates all cover and the not moving my archers which grants yet another shot per archer fir the turn. So all my archers get 3 attacks on the turn and can shoot anywhere on the field. And how many enemy units did i kill? ZERO. Thats 12 shots total and didnt even kill one single unit. And i dont mean a platoon of 3 units. I mean ONE UNIT. This has happened several times and not just my archers. NONE of my units EVER land hits. They are pretty much useless. All the lore powers in the world doesnt help my cause. Now lets look at the enemy units. They ALWAYS either hit or grant a lore power or cause my guys to run away. Couple that with the ability to sacrifice their units to kill mine. So they always hit killing my guys then they mop up the rest of my platoons by sacrificing. And the sacrifice power doesnt cost lore so they can use this power again and again. The game isnt hard,its impossible. I wasted my money.
