Best app by far. I've used a lot of bird apps over the last few years (paid and free apps), but I stick to this one. It's easy to use and the identification description in the illustrations are very helpful. Perfect for beginners and advanced users. You can inport your birdlasser info to the app. I love this app.

I used this app on a trip to kruger and loved it. I loved the diagrams and the fact that there were good photos as well... and also the birds sounds. I think it is expensive compared to other birding apps and would prefer a once-off subscription as with the Robert's app. I could not find functionality to add a list for different trips... and that would be very useful indeed. Also would like more info on behavior and characteristics of each bird rather than the summary of the category of bird

Simply amazing identification tips on the images and the calls. You are best in class on this. Well done! But for the asking price(most expensive in SA as far as I can tell), the lack of high resolution maps, filtering species by location and by key feature - reduces utility in the field. These features have been available in BirdPro for years and have recently been added to Roberts. Also, please add fuzzy search matching.. any typos yields no results. Hoping to these updates in a future version.

I'm sure this is a wonderful app, I'm really a fan of Faansie's books. It is a pity, however, that this app has decided to go with monthly subscriptions, and an exorbitant amount at that. Paying R1300 per year for an app, even of this quality, is absurd.

This app is obviously jam packed with information and content and is well laid out, there has clearly been alot of time and effort put into it BUT the cost for subscription is extortionate hence the one star. I simply don't have that sort of money to invest in an app and I would imagine many people would be the same!
