About this app
Maximize your Parkour potential by improving your athleticism and strength
Fitivity gets you better. Looks like you’re here to get better at Parkour.
This app focuses on the strength aspect of Parkour training so that your body can execute advanced moves. Parkour is a sport that requires your body to be extremely strong, limber, flexible, athletic. Parkour requires you to be able to be agile, jump high, have a powerful and strong upper body, and a core that can keep your upper and lower body in sync.
Type of Workouts Included
- Upper & Lower body strength drills
- Plyometrics
- Flexibility & balance
- Core & abdominal strength
- Reaction & agility
- Grip and hand strength
- Range of motion
Parkour is also known as tracing and free running -- as these athletes are called Tracers. Free running is developed from military obstacle course training. Practitioners get from one point to another in a complex environment without any equipment. Tracers use running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping, rolling, quadrupedal movement, and other movements as deemed most suitable for the situation. The sports development from military training gives it some factors of a non-combative martial art mixed with elements of gymnastics.
In addition to your weekly workouts, try out Fitivity BEATS! Beats is a highly engaging exercise experience that combines mixes by DJ's and super motivating trainers to push you through workouts.
• Audio guidance from your personal digital trainer
• Customized workouts designed for you each week.
• For each workout you are provided with HD instructional videos to preview & learn training techniques.
• Stream workouts online or do workouts offline.
