Avid player of the original, I even made a number of youtube videos about its mechanics when I was in middle school. This is easily the most technically competent and well-polished game I've seen Foursaken Media make. The monetization is very non-intrusive, as well! 500 character limit hurts this review, but... Having multiple enemy races is awesome! (Block Fortress War 2 someday? 👉👈) The light system is greatly improved! No longer is darkness all or nothing. Sprint + ADS is a fine addition.

(Updated) Want to like it so bad. The left side of screen controls always work, the right side of the screen controls glitch out and lock. Random inability to move the camera/aim really sucks. Galaxy A25. Also, please let us pay to permanently remove the ads. (Update--same day, Devs care) Found the store. "Save and quit" is redundant and confusing. "Return to Ship" would clear the confusion. The game drops into Misson mode immediately. The return to ship (and store) is currently not intuitive.

Upgrade system, strictly on fun, is a downgrade to BF1. Randomized local upgrades is cool, but global upgrades are also randomized??? Game also rolls upgrades you already have, and you CANT STACK UPGRADES (but the upgrades can be upgraded anyway.) Issue worsens as you pile up in global upgrades. Other factions are unfinished, and the $8 USD Premium Badge ripoff when you can buy $5 USD Blockbucks and get the Premium Badge instead. Also PC has exclusive feature you can't get on mobile.

massive miss not having coop at launch. I played the steam version when it first launched and was really hoping multiplayer would be in the mobile drop. I played the original to have fun playing with friends. playing solo is just not something im interested in

unplayable. I cant start a map medium size it glitches and freezes up. playing on the S25 ultra. update.. if the map has too much placed in it in sandbox.. which in mine its not terribly much on medium map. the whole game freezes when you start the game. still unplayable months later. can only play campaign.
