Religion Inc. God Simulator v2.7.8
GameFirstAbout this app
Religion Inc. God Simulator solves the problem of monotony in simulation games by offering a unique blend of divine powers and civilization management, benefiting fans of casual-strategy and sandbox games. Compared to alternatives in the Game Simulation category, it stands out with its faith-based mechanics but may fall short in terms of depth for hardcore strategy enthusiasts. With a moderate download count and a very good user rating, it attracts a dedicated audience. Its simplicity and lack of permissions required make it an accessible choice.
Pros
- The app's paid model with optional in-app purchases provides a relatively ad-free experience, enhancing gameplay without intrusive interruptions, which is a significant advantage for players seeking immersion.
- With a 4.2/5 user rating and over 100,000 downloads, Religion Inc. God Simulator has social proof and a well-received gameplay mechanic that appeals to its target audience.
- The developer's active engagement, as indicated by the provided email for feedback, suggests a commitment to updating and improving the game based on user input.
- The absence of required permissions adds to the app's security and privacy appeal, making it a trustworthy choice for users concerned about data protection.
- Its compatibility with Android 7.0 and later ensures a broad range of devices can run the game, expanding its potential user base.
Cons
- The game's depth and complexity might not satisfy players looking for a more challenging or detailed strategy experience, potentially limiting its appeal to a broader audience.
- Although the in-app purchases are optional, they could lead to a pay-to-win scenario or encourage spending, which might deter some players seeking a balanced experience.
- The lack of detailed information about the data collected through the in-app purchases or the game's privacy policy could raise concerns among privacy-conscious users.
- Some users might find the $0.49 initial purchase and subsequent in-app purchases to be a barrier to entry, especially if they are not sure about the game's quality or longevity.
Best for: The ideal user for Religion Inc. God Simulator is someone who enjoys casual-strategy and sandbox games, likely in the age range of 16 to 40, with a medium to high level of technical skill, looking for a unique gaming experience that combines divine powers with civilization management without the complexity of hardcore strategy games.

Religion Inc. God Simulator users say on Google Play
All religions locked ?! I used to play before and all archetypes were unlocked. Now I can only play with monotheism. I clicked restore purchase and a message in Russian/ucranian (idk which one) appears. So... now I have to pay to unlock other religions (which is funny, 'cause I have some achievements with the "locked" ones). I give 5 stars, it's a good game to waste time anyway. And I'll probably buy the archetypes too... (edited: I just played some games and unlocked all archetypes eventually).
Honestly, it's one of the best Plague inc clones I ever played. I have a few problems with it. Like I can't have access to the tutorial. Play on prophet difficulty For all Religions no achievement For completing them even for all the get secret events. Even I can't turn off the auto collector & others Things that make the game easier. Overall, it's a great experience. Hope you can add Greek, egypt mythos Demonology and Eldridge Horror to the game like you did for cthulhu.
It's a minimalistic game. Easy to play and good design. However, there's not much to actually do. No mini-games, not many interactive choices or the ability to see the consequences of the choices you do make, and no way to set up extra hubs on other continents. The map is set in large sections, which is easy to navigate, but no individual countries. It's good to pass the time and understand how religion spreads, but not much to actually do gameplay wise.
I am frustrated with this game. While this is one I come back to, I cannot press the continue button after winning a round, and instead have to exit the app to get out of the ending screen. Thus I cannot move forward with the progress of the game as the keys aren't rewarded, which I was looking forward to.
It's making me pay again for something I already paid, just because they changed the price. I paid for this game months ago and I love it, but after the last update I can't access sandbox options, I don't get chests and it's asking me to pay? I already paid to have those and I had them, now I have to pay for the things that I already had again? I click restore purchases and nothing happens
